Please use this form to submit abstracts to the DEX-XXII: 22nd Durham-Edinburgh eXtragalactic Workshop (Decades of EXtragalactic workshop) which will take place on 8th and 9th January, 2026 in Edinburgh.
Abstracts will be anonymised before ranking by members of the SOC. The ranking will be based on whether the abstract is understandable to a non-specialist audience (i.e., not too technical), whether it conveys the bigger picture (i.e., why this research is important) and whether it is clear what will be presented.
It is planned that a contributed talk will be 10-12 minutes long and a flash talk will be 2-4 minutes long. Time for questions will be in addition to this. We will finalise the length of the talks once the abstracts have been ranked.
There is a cost of £25 for attending the conference and a £50 fee to attend the workshop dinner. Please register to attend the conference here before December 12th:
