DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Nils Hermansson-Truedsson (University of Edinburgh)\
, Maxwell Hansen (University of Edinburgh)\n\nThe Nordic Lattice meeting i
s an annual event designed to foster collaboration between and beyond the
Nordic countries. Previously\, it was held in Denmark (Odense 01/2022)\, F
inland (Helsinki 08/2022)\, Norway (Stavanger 06/2023)\, Sweden (Lund 06/2
 024) and Switzerland (CERN 05/2025). The Nordic lattice community is activ
ely working on a range of topics where non-perturbative effects are of cen
tral interest\, from early-Universe cosmology to precision lattice QCD cal
culations in the search for new physics.\nThe meeting will consist of a se
ries of talks and discussions designed to spark scientific exchange and co
llaboration. The Edinburgh meeting will be the first one in the UK\, so UK
-based members of the community are particularly encouraged to participate
. \nPractical details: There is no conference fee. Lunch and tea/coffee
breaks will be provided and all delegates are invited to attend a conferen
ce dinner on Monday 18 May. The meeting will end with the Higgs Centre Col
loquium presented by Kari Rummukainen on Wednesday 20 May at 1pm.\nRegistr
ation Deadline: 1 April 2026. In-person attendance is limited so registra
tions will be accepted on a first come\, first served basis. \nAbstract S
ubmissions: Abstracts are invited for talk or poster presentations. Abstr
act Deadline: 22 April 2026\nAccommodation: We recommend that you book
your travel/accommodation as soon as possible\, since Edinburgh is a very
popular tourist destination. \nSponsors: Higgs Centre for Theoretical Phy
 sics\, UKLFT\n \n                     \nGradient Flow workshop
May 12-15: Some participants might be interested in a gradient flow work
shop taking place the week before at the Higgs Centre (see https://indico.
ph.ed.ac.uk/e/gradientflow26). \nTravel Scam! If you receive emails from
travellerpoint(dot)org (or another travel company)\, please be careful. T
he email asks about arrival and departure dates to Edinburgh and offers a
hotel booking form where they ask for credit card details.\nPlease\, ignor
e the emails and do not reply nor click on any link given by them. You can
also block the domain on your email client.\nOur official emails are all
 from this website’s domain “@ed.ac.uk” (usually\, sopa.events@ed.ac.
uk). Please avoid giving private information to external sources. The only
official way to register for our workshops and events are advertised via
this website (or indico) and we will get in touch directly if we book acco
 mmodation for you.\n\nhttps://indico.ph.ed.ac.uk/event/400/
