DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the 2026 STFC Nuclear Physics Summer School - we ar
 e very much looking forward to meeting you all in Aberdeen this summer (26
 th July - 8th August).\nThis is a two-week\, in-person residential Summer 
 school\, with students expected to attend the entire school and partake in
  all sessions.\nThe school is tailored for PhD students typically in their
  1st or 2nd year of study. There will be lectures\, tutorials and skills
  sessions delivered throughout the Summer school by a team of world-leadin
 g experts and early-career researchers in the domain of nuclear science\, 
 covering experimental\, theoretical and applied aspects of the field.\nThe
  Registration is now open and will close end of May 2026. For participant
 s who do not hold an STFC-funded studentship the attendance fee for the sc
 hool will be £1000\, which covers the accommodation for the full 26th Jul
 y-8th August period\, and meals during teaching days (Mon-Fri). Requests f
 or payment will come shortly after registration closes\, and will need com
 pleting before attendance can be fully confirmed.\nPre-registrants will ha
 ve priority places on the school\, as will those funded by STFC studentshi
