We have arranged the following three organised excursions for delegates on the afternoon of Wednesday the 31st of May. The excursions are provided free of charge to the conference participants. If you would like to participate in one of these, please register here by Monday 22nd of May, noon UK time.
Excursion 1:
Coach trip to Drummond Gardens, Doune Castle and scenic route through some beautiful Scottish countryside along Loch Lubnaig and Loch Earn. Departing Crieff Hydro on Wednesday at 14:00 and returning to Crieff Hydro at approximately 18:30.
Please ensure you are dressed for the weather with comfortable shoes as much of the trip will be outside. The coach will depart from main door of hotel at 14:00, so please board by 14:00.

Excursion 2:
Four-hour hill walk from Loch Turret to Auchnafree Hill (alt. 789 meters). To access the trailhead we will take a 15 minutes ride on a minibus, departing Crieff Hydro main door at 14:00 and returning, again by minibus, at approximately 18:30. The hill walk itself will take approximately 4 hours, involves an ascent of some 600 meters and requires walking boots, suitable clothing, water and a snack.

Excursion 3:
Walk from hotel through local countryside around Crieff Hydro. This is a guided walk which will take 3.5 hours, leaving from hotel main door at 14:00. This walk is on paths/tracks. The first part is on good paths with 90m of ascent around Glenturret valley and the second part, to Knock of Crieff hill, involves 230m of ascent on well made tracks. For this excursion you will need suitable footwear and clothing depending on the weather. Please bring water and some snacks as there will be no opportunity to buy food/water during the walk.
