This year's Triangular Conference on Cosmological Frontiers in Fundamental Physics will take place from the 19th - 21st of April 2024 at 50 George Square at the University of Edinburgh.

This conference is jointly organized by the Higgs Centre for Theoretical Physics in Edinburgh, the Astroparticle and Cosmology (APC) Laboratory in Paris, and the Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics in Waterloo. As always, the conference will include both theoretical and observational/experimental talks.

Astronomical observations of the early universe reveal it to be as simple as can be, with no exotica observed thus far. Similarly, laboratory and accelerator experiments so far show no sign of particles beyond the Standard Model. The extreme economy and elegance of the observed universe poses a fundamental challenge for theoretical physics, demanding comparably minimal and elegant theoretical explanations. The focus of this workshop will be on looking for new theoretical explanations that are deeper, simpler and more rigid, and that explain why the universe is as simple as we observe it to be.

Speakers include:

Christopher Berry (Glasgow)

Sayantani Bhattacharya (NISER, Bhubaneswar)

Ana Bonaca (Carnegie Observatories)

Martin Bucher (APC)

Claudia De-Rham (Imperial)

Neal Dalal (Perimeter)

John Donoghue (Amherst)

Astrid Eichhorn (CP3 Institute)

Andrew Hamilton (Colorado)

Kirill Krasnov (Nottingham)

Jonathan Oppenheim (University College London, to be confirmed)

Ue-Li Pen (CITA/PI/ASIAA)

Will Percival (Waterloo/Perimeter)

Mikhail Shaposhnikov (Lausanne)

Kendrick Smith (Perimeter)

Andy Taylor (Royal Astronomical Observatory, Edinburgh)

Andrew Tolley (Imperial)

Neil Turok (Higgs Centre, Edinburgh)

Irene Valenzuela (CERN)
