Of course, no visit to Edinburgh would be complete without a visit to the iconic Edinburgh Castle Official Edinburgh Castle Website | Buy Tickets & Plan Your Visit followed by a walk along the Royal Mile to the Palace of Holyroodhouse. This famous cobbled street is made up of 5 sections, Castlehill, Lawnmarket, High Street, Canongate and Abbey Strand, each with its own landmarks and attractions. There are also many fabulous bars, cafes and restaurants to stop and watch the world go by and to sample some of Edinburgh’s finest food and drink.

If you are feeling particularly energetic, take an early evening walk up Arthur’s Seat which is just short walk away from the Royal Mile. The panoramic views over our beautiful city are simply breath-taking.
