The 2023 international workshop on the Circular Electron Positron Collider (CEPC) will take place at the University of Edinburgh between 3-6 July.
The workshop intends to gather scientists around the world to study the physics potentials of the CEPC, pursue international collaborations for accelerator and detector optimisation, deepen R&D work of critical technologies, and develop initial plans towards Technical Design Reports (TDR). The high energy Super proton-proton Collider (SppC), a possible upgrade of the CEPC, will also be discussed.
The workshop program consists of plenary sessions and parallel sessions. The workshop encourages participation from early career scientists, especially from post-graduate students and postdocs.
This event will be run in hybrid mode with the following zoom links:
Plenary: Zoom-Plenary (Passcode: nYE11fb0)
Parallel – Physics:Zoom-Physics (Passcode: za5eL00M)
Parallel – Detector: Zoom-Detector (Passcode: mb6nuQi6)
Parallel – Accelerator: Zoom-Accelerator (Passcode: v7ytcu1W)
This event is hosted by the University of Edinburgh and organised by a UK organising committee from the following institutes, with considerable support from Institute of High Energy Physics (IHEP) Chinese Academy of Sciences.
